I’m Abbey and I am an LCSW and certified sex therapist through both the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and the Sexual Health Alliance (SHA). I am seasoned clinician here to help you explore what it means to be your most authentic self.
I am a sex positive therapist passionate about helping clients create connection, pleasure, and the relationships they desire. It is my mission to help you embrace and explore sexuality with acceptance, education, and consent. I am also trauma informed and work to create an environment that promotes recovery and healing.
I use a holistic approach in sessions that may include strengths-based, self-compassion, and emotional regulation techniques. I work to make sure sessions provide a genuine, affirming space for you to reconnect you with your own curiosity and desires.
Common issues in my practice include working with clients in alternative relationship styles (poly couples/families, swinging, open relationships). I am also passionate about helping those with chronic mental health issues, trauma, religion and sexuality issues, and life transitions.
