Amanda has been working with survivors of trauma for over a decade and specializes in combat trauma, childhood physical or sexual abuse, sexual assault, and vicarious trauma. Additionally, Amanda is an AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist and an ABS-Certified Sexologist; she is trained in helping clients navigate issues or interests related to sex, sexuality, consensual nonmonogamy, and kink or fetishes. She utilizes a variety of interventions, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), mindfulness, CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy), Narrative Therapy, Sensate Focus, DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), and Motivational Interviewing.
