Hello and welcome! I'm Tammy Fisher, Founder and Clinical Director of two practices: The Pleasure Principles and Visionary Family Counseling. I have specialized in relationships and intimacy for over 15 years and hope I can be of help to you! I help all relationship configurations (monogamous and non-monogamous) who are disconnected, frustrated or bored learn ways to rebuild interest, joy and passion so they can have a more fulfilling relationship and satisfying sexual connection. My clients would tell you my warmth, directness and humor helps them feel safe to break through gridlocks to develop a deeper understanding of self and partner that naturally inspires loving interactions.

Typical first meeting

During the first meeting, we will review informed consent, practice policies and begin assessing personal and relationship goals for therapy while building rapport. Topics for assessment, which could occur over multiple sessions, may include current concerns, history of these concerns, sexual satisfaction assessment, family of origin experiences, traumatic life events and communication issues/styles. As the sessions unfold, you can expect helpful demonstrations of how the brain functions in stress, skills to help emotional regulation and stress, communication activities, skills and activities to build healthier interactions with self and others, skills to increase intimacy and sexual satisfaction and skills to promote self understanding/awareness as well as for others.
